Innovative Industrial Lubricant Filtration Services
Our Specialized Services for Optimal Oil Cleanliness
The Concept
Removing contaminants from oil prolongs the usable life of additives, which in turn protect base oil for longer periods of time. This is is achieved by cycling through these steps: Collect a small amount of Oil from the machine. Pass Ooil through Triple R Oil Cleaner to trap contaminants and stop them from re-entring the machine. Return clean Oil back to the machine. Triple R Oil Cleaner helps reduce Oxidation development in any lubricant – Oil and Glycol – by trapping solid particles, water and oxygen (air) away from additives and base oil.
Bypass in Line
A Complementary Solution in line Bypass: Fine & Coarse Contaminants, Sludge & Soot, Water, Bubbles, Low flow, No pulsation, Full Flow, Coarse Particles Contaminants, No Sludge, No Soot, No Water, No Bubbles, High flow, High pulsation. Together, full flow and bypass make for complete filtration
Protecting Additives
Additives protect base oil, in turn, they are protected by Triple R filter element. Triple R filter elements are engineered to trap and remove contaminants such as Solid particles, water and air and which range in size from 0.1mm to 1mm. Slowing-Down Oxidationinline Additives deplete due to a chemical chain reaction known as oxidation. Oxidation happens as a result of molecular interactions between metal (Fe), copper (Cu), Magnesium (Mg) and other metals known generically as solid particles, along with water (H2O) and/or air (O2). Additives are used up as more and more contaminants find their way into the oil pan, therefore, by removing contaminants from circulation and stopping them from mixing with oil, additives are left to protect base oil to lubricate and minimize wear on the machine.
Oil analysis
AOil Analysis in machinery, like blood test in humans, contains information about the oil health. It may contain many parameters such as:oil analysis Wear metals content Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Aluminum (Al), Magnesium (Mg), Tin, Chromium, Nikel, Molybdenum, Lead. Contamination content Silicon, Sodium, Soot Value, Soot %, Oxidation, Sulphate, Nitrates, Water (%), TAN (Total Acid Number for Hydraulic oil) Additives package Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc, Phosphorous, Boron, TBN (Total Base Number for Engine oil) Cleanliness rating – ISO and SAE/NAS standards Usually used for new oil and/or clean systems such as Hydraulic systems. Viscosity Measured in cSt at various temperatures. Each laboratory has its own compliance statement; hence, the end-user needs to properly understand what standard is being followed, and what method is used for counting.
Filter effiecency
Filter efficiency is represented by the Beta (β) ratio, this is standardized by ISO 4572 Committee and is accepted as the norm worldwide. The higher the Beta ratio number, the better the trap of the filter to stop contaminants from passing through it and back into the system. Triple R Filter Elements offer some of the better efficiency ratios on the market. Here in the following table are some of the Beta ratios found on various Filter Elements. As seen, Triple R offers the ability to stop 99.9% of the contaminants going through some of its filter elements, a near perfect mouse-trap for contamination.
